Find Out Who Rachel Lindsay Picked On The Finale Of 'The Bachelorette'

First of all, how dare you. Do you think Rachel made a mistake? Is nothing sacred anymore!?

"I am the best version of myself when I'm with you", he said. Maybe that's why I'm having trouble being amusing as I put this together.

Eric was the first to be eliminated in a rose ceremony from which he was surprised to walk away a single man. Luckily she comes to her senses and they got to kick it in the Fantasy Suite.

Peter pretends he hadn't seen the fantasy suite card sitting on the table, reads the note allegedly written by Chris Harrison (which definitely isn't written by Chris Harrison) and the two go off for an anticlimactic overnight stay together. Just look at him. "I wish you nothing but the best and I really just want happiness for you, that's all".

Rachel arrives in full Rachel Green garb for wine tasting. These are red flags though. Bryan was bursting with joy - so much so that he started jumping. Was your confidence as high in Bryan as he had his confidence in himself? He's a real boy! The producers try to create some drama by talking about Rachel "but" it's pretty clear they like each other a lot. I study them frame by frame like they're the Zapruder film. He told them that relationships are hard. We'd support her through anything, right? But guys, Rachel and Eric's breakup style was enviable. I did good. I did good. "I want to tell you that I love you and I'm in love with you and I can't imagine spending my life with anyone else". Rarely before Peter has it been deconstructed about what exactly that engagement means and how trivially the franchise honestly treats this big moment.

He then proposed the second time during the live portion of the show. He's a really good guy. I know it's tough for you to watch Rachel on dates with other men when you know where your heart lies. Were leather jackets a Bryan thing? Having a ring and a proposal was so important to her that, despite her solid foundation with Peter, she made the choice to let him go.

Bryan continues to go all in on this. I can't even envision it. "That's what I was lacking my whole life".

Somehow, Bryan gleans "a different energy" from her during the day and decides to chat about it over dinner. And I think the proposal became such a focal point because that's what happens at the end of the show, but that was not the reason I didn't - or I decided not to choose Peter, that wasn't the reason. Whatever works, you two! "When I'm with Bryan, I feel like I'm in a fairy tale".

So Peter, you'll be fine. "I don't get it". "I couldn't answer that question in the context of being on the show". But if ABC and "The Bachelor" franchise really wanted to show a commitment to diversity, they could do so with relative ease by putting the most likable and charismatic person from this batch at the center of next season: Just make Eric the bachelor already.

We are taken to a mountain top in Spain where Bryan hikes up to meet Rachel.

Bachelorette Rachel Lindsay has finally chosen the one lucky man who she wants to Wednesday, and that is Bryan Abasolo! I do not blame her for anything.

Watching that interaction was also hard for Bryan, who admitted there was a "stark contrast" between his relationship with Rachel and the one she had with Peter. They both cry. "I think we're both going to regret this decision", Peter says. I can't seem to find my witty voice. We can have terrific jobs, wonderful friends, and yet, the pictures we post cheesing with a significant other are what rack up the most Instagram likes, time and time again. He clearly had strong feelings for Rachel, he's just wasn't ready to propose.

"I'm not living a mediocre life".

Unfortunately, we now realize this life is with Bryan, who, if Twitter is to be trusted, everybody hates. He's not Courtney Robertson.

"Love is love for us", added Lindsay. Love him or hate him, Bryan is bringing his A-game. "Peter was just being honest". Is it the cheeks? Rachel Lindsay has been a true Queen among royals.

Right after the dramatic breakup between Peter and Rachel, Brian gets down on one knee.

The rest of the show is pretty tiresome except for Rachel's dress. In public together for the first time Bryan surprised Rachel by re-proposing to her with the Neil Lane ring he chose earlier that season to replace her "stand in" engagement ring.

I'm going to miss Rachel so much. "What guarantee do I have that it's ever gonna leave that stage?" "If you change your mind, you know where you can find me".
